Romania's prime minister resigns after his candidate loses the election

Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu has resigned after the far-right candidate won the first round of the presidential election on Sunday. Eurosceptic candidate George Simion won with 40.9% of the vote and is expected to win the runoff on May 18.
