Queues and anticipation to meet the four guests of the new episodes of 'The Eclipse'
Roger Escapa hosted the opening ceremony held at the Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm in front of hundreds of attendees
BarcelonaRoger Escapa continues to want to invite more famous faces to the bar of The eclipse and his guests still want to visit what has been accompanying hundreds of thousands of Catalans on weekend mornings on Catalunya Ràdio since 2018. With the good understanding of the host, the guests, and also the viewers - who increased by 54,000 listeners in the last EGM - this Friday another four episodes of the interview programme available on 3Cat will be released.
To celebrate the new instalment of the four episodes on public television in Catalonia, this Wednesday more than 250 people gathered at the Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm to find out which guests will be passing through Escapa's bar. At half past seven, half an hour after the official start of the premiere, the queue of people was still accumulating outside the building. "I'm as mad as a clam," Escapa acknowledged as he watched people enter the event held under his invitation.
Among the guests from the journalist's family and friends circles there were also familiar faces. The lawyer Marc Molins, the chef Martina Puigverd, the content creator ofThe partners Pau Joan Miquel, the presenters of the Loft Berta Aroca and Alberto Gadel, the journalists Laura Fa and Abraham Orriols and the actress and partner of the presenter,Diana Gómez were some of the guests at the premiere of the new episodes. Juliana Canet was also there, not only as a guest, but also as a protagonist, since along with Toni Cruanyes, Ignasi Taltavull and Samanta Villar, she is one of the interviewees in the new episodes of The eclipse.
"I was still blonde here," Canet exclaimed just before a small preview of the episode was shown, revealing that the interview had been recorded more than three months ago. With both Catalunya Ràdio journalists on stage, they presented some of the topics discussed during the interview without resolving the underlying issues. "I'm not in favour of giving interviews because I already have a daily programme and I already talk a lot on the networks, but on Escapa it's impossible to say no, that's why I'm here today too," Canet justified in conversation with ARA about having accepted the interview with the journalist.
Although the journalist from Sabadell has forged his professional career in radio, Escapa has defended in conversation with ARA that "television is not to the detriment of radio" and has asserted that this format can also be seen on screen. This Friday at the Escapa and Gómez home will be a day of celebration, as not only the presenter will begin new episodes. The actress will also do so with the presentation of the fourth and final season of the series Valeria on Netflix, a coincidence that will force the couple to agree on what time to turn on the television on Friday night, they explained.
