Barça and Mallorca recently played La Liga matches. The Catalans struggled to win in stoppage time at home against Celta Vigo. A Raphinha penalty broke the deadlock. Meanwhile, the Balearic team earned a point at Son Moix against relegation candidate Leganés (0-0). Barça has only lost one match in 2025 and remains in contention in all competitions, while Mallorca is making the most of its chances of reaching Europe next season. Jagoba Arrasate's team currently sits seventh and could play in the Conference League.

Barça have the already known injuries of Ter Stegen, Marc Bernal, and Marc Casadó, and have added one more in the form of Robert Lewandowski, who will also miss the Copa del Rey final. Arrasate will be without his two best forwards, Muriqi and Asano, who are injured, as are Robert Navarro and Manu Morlanes. Meanwhile, Maffeo and Dani Rodríguez are suspended.
