5 new fragrances to scent your summer

BarcelonaWith the arrival of the first heat, perfumery firms present their main bets of the season, with fragrances designed to accompany throughout the summer. Citrus aromas, marine notes, floral accords and very suggestive compositions mark this year's novelties, which seek to combine freshness, durability and personality. In this ranking, we compile some of the most outstanding launches of the season, a selection that reflects the trends that will mark the summer in the world of perfumery.

Penhaligon's

This British brand with 156 years of history, owned by the Catalan firm Puig for 11 years, has just presented The Manoeuvres of the Baroness, a new character in its unmistakable Portraits collection. Created by perfumer Daphné Bugey, this creation opens with the delicate creaminess of a Chantilly cream accord, before orange blossom brings luminosity and warmth. A soft sandalwood base sustains the composition and gives rise to an elegant, confident, and discreet fragrance. It can very easily become part of the infinite and delicious world of Penhaligon's.

House of Thêom

Also new in the perfumery sector from House of Thêom, a line of fragrances that has arrived in Spain from New Flag with the objective of "redefining" the concept of accessible luxury in perfumery terms. Velvet Whisper, Endless Love and Midnight Cherry are the three olfactory creations of the collection that have arrived, conceived to give a different personality to each moment of summer. Velvet Whisper is a fresh yet elegant composition. A sparkling mandarin gives way to the delicacy of orange blossom, while a warm amber base adds depth. Endless Love is, according to the brand, "an invitation to let yourself be carried away by emotions". It includes bergamot, honey and vanilla to bring to life a gourmand and warm fragrance. Midnight Cherry is the most intense of this trio. It fuses a powerful cherry with the delicacy of rose and the creamy sensuality of tonka bean to create a fruity composition.

Obart

The Obart brand, the first perfumery line from Scentcare, has just arrived in Europe through Sephora, who act as distributors and also guarantors. They explain that the brand's objective is to transfer the approach of skin care to the world of fragrances and to achieve that perfume lasts longer and offers better performance without altering its aroma. In a context where consumers are looking for increasingly complete, effective, and specialized routines, Obart responds to the need to prolong the duration of fragrances and turn the daily act of perfuming oneself into a ritual of self-care. This is demonstrated by the launch of a primer called P3 Fragance Primer, which is applied to the skin before perfume to prolong its olfactory life. It is accompanied by eight eaux de parfum developed in France by perfumers from DSM-Firmenich. They will be available from mid-August.

The Sage

The brand La Sabia has not missed the opportunity to offer its followers a new perfume designed to survive the intense heat of the Spanish capital, where the house was born just a year ago. Its latest launch is called Conquista and is a fragrance inspired by the emotion of exploring new horizons that combines vibrant notes with more elegant ones. An olfactory memory that reinterprets the sea breeze blends with the aroma of citrus in a composition made with a high concentration of perfume oils, which allows the fragrance to evolve on the skin throughout the day and maintain its personality without disappearing immediately.

Kayali

Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk | 22 is the sweetest eau de parfum from the Kayali brand, founded by Iraqi Mona Kattan in 2018. It is a gourmand fragrance defined as "extremely creamy" and inspired by Mona's love for caramel, born from popular demand from the brand's fans. What began as an April Fools' joke in 2025 quickly became one of the most requested fragrance concepts in the brand's history. After humorously presenting a fictional fragrance called Kitten Musk | 41, the brand received an avalanche of requests demanding that this scent become a reality. The result has been a fragrance that brings together notes of milk, salted caramel, white chocolate, vanilla, soft musk, and caramelized sandalwood. A scent that makes the wearer unique.
