BarcelonaAs agreed on June 18, this Tuesday the workers of TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio have carried out a partial strike to denounce that the management of public media is not complying with the agreement, among other issues. As a form of protest, the workers have decided to stop for ten minutes at the beginning of Telenotícies in the case of television (from 2:30 p.m. to 2:40 p.m., and from 9 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.) and at the beginning of Catalunya migdia (from 2 p.m. to 2:10 p.m.) and Tot Costa (from 7 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.) on Catalunya Ràdio.

Thus, this noon the edition of Telenotícies began later than usual, and between 2:30 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. while Cuines was being broadcast, a superimposed message could be read stating: "The usual programming of TV3, 3CatInfo and 3Cat is altered due to the call for a 10-minute partial strike by the workers of CCMA". During these ten minutes of stoppage, there was a concentration of workers outside the 3Cat facilities.

In the statement made public by the TV3 works committee on June 17 the various reasons that led them to strike were listed. Among the issues they denounced were the multiplication of trust positions with opaque processes, a tightening of the conditions for recovering overtime, what they consider "the most aggressive marketing operation in favor of 3Cat, with the aim of erasing the historical legacy of TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio". They also claimed that the law of the Catalan Audiovisual Corporation should be complied with, which indicates that three of the six members of the governing council should have been replaced last February.
