The TV3 series that turns the Ebro Delta into the setting for an environmental thriller.

In a summer in which high temperatures have made it impossible to forget environmental concerns, the new TV3 series delves headlong into the issue of the climate emergency, presenting a plot that doesn't ignore one of the Delta's greatest anxieties: a journalist from Barcelona arrives in the area to solve the disappearance of Bianca, an environmentalist who was preparing a report that was to guide the European Union on the measures that should be taken to preserve the largest wetland in Catalonia. She joins Julia, and together they discover that Bianca's report jeopardized the interests of some of the members of the Roundtable for the Agreement on the Future of the Delta.
This Catalan-Valencian co-production has been created and directed by David González, who also signs the script with Laia Foguet (Olympo) and has already participated in other TV3 series, such as Moébius and Merlin: sapere aude. "The Delta thus becomes one of the most magnetic characters in this story. And the series doesn't just talk about it. The people, the voices, the jobs, the customs, the traditions... All these elements are present in the series to give credibility and uniqueness to the fictional universe. They represent a unique place," explain those responsible for the series. They assure that the Delta is an "absolutely fascinating" place.
Apart from Meritxell Calvo and Raquel Ferri, the cast of Delta It also features familiar faces such as Carol Rovira, Pep Tosar, and Mercè Comas, who makes a cameo.
