BarcelonaThe Center arrives on the Movistar+ platform. It is a thriller A spy thriller starring Vicente Alfaro, known as Michelin, played by actor Juan Diego Botto. The plot begins with a murder that uncovers a complex international operation linked to the Russians. Set in the present day, but with a Cold War feel, the plot involves a race against time to prevent an undercover agent from compromising state security. Furthermore, the protagonists find themselves caught in a conspiracy that also includes internal betrayals.

The series boasts being the first in which the directors had the opportunity to speak with active-duty officers to gain a firsthand understanding of their daily lives. They explain that the goal was to offer a realistic depiction of daily life within the force and the psychological pressures it entails. They opened their doors and were able to ask questions, although they couldn't answer every question.

The production, which consists of only six episodes, presented the first two in mid-September at the South Series festival in Cádiz and was very well received by viewers. The production company Fonte Films, along with directors, screenwriters, and actors, agreed that it has been a privilege to discover a reality as unknown as that of the people who work at the CNI. In fact, producer Fran Araújo does not rule out the possibility that The Center have a second season, but first they have to see how everything works, and explains that they like to make series that end in a rounded way with a sense of closure for the viewer but they would also like to continue it if the story calls for it and if there is a good impact.
