The edition has been marked by the growth of consumption of content in Catalan, which has been 72%
BarcelonaThe CRIT Awards, which recognize and promote digital audiovisual projects in Catalan, celebrated their second edition yesterday at the Teatre Coliseum in Barcelona. Presented by Núria Marín, a total of 14 projects were recognized at the gala, with an attendance of 1,200 professionals and creators, including producers, journalists, and members of the Catalan audiovisual industry. This year's edition highlights the highest recognition for best creator of the year, which went to Laura Grau, and the podcast Guarres!, whose characters were interviewed by l'ARA a few weeks ago, as the best independent project.
The best industry project, for its part, was
Ets i uts, a series from EVA —CCMA's open digital platform for young people— of 20 reports starring Marc Tarrida and Mònica Glaenzel, which deals with the salvation of the language. The series is available on the 3Cat platform and on YouTube. Emma Soler received the award for emerging creator of the year and the prize for the best digital campaign went to Correllengua Agermanat, a race that crosses and unites the Catalan Countries.
3Cat has reinforced its commitment to Catalan content creators and, according to a recent study by Accent Obert, consumption of Catalan content on social media has grown by 72% in the last year. In the EVA environment, which has registered more than 235 million reproductions during 2025, 3Cat has generated more than 1,700 hours of content.
