L’ARA continues to bet on innovation and today launches the beta version of Goita, an assistant that will help discover the best cultural and gastronomic proposals in Barcelona, leveraging the conversational potential of artificial intelligence. The new tool combines technology, reliable sources, and editorial criteria to discover what to do in the city quickly and personalized.

Click on the link to try Goita. With Goita, users can make queries such as “What can I do this weekend?”, “Theater today” or “Where to eat near me?” and receive concrete answers adapted to the date, the area, and the type of plan they are looking for. It can be found on the website goita.ara.cat and in the ARA app, and this first test version will serve to analyze which types of searches are most used by our readers and how the answers can be improved from the tool itself.

Goita allows you to explore a wide range of cultural events, including concerts, theater, cinema, exhibitions, restaurants, bars, and other leisure venues. The objective is to simplify the search for quality entertainment through an agile and intuitive tool that highlights the city's entire cultural and gastronomic ecosystem. The system uses open data from the Barcelona City Council, other external sources specifically selected for their reliability, and internal sources from ARA, especially content published in the Culture and Mengem sections. In the case of restaurant searches, for example, the responses include links to some of the articles and reviews published by our gastronomy experts. The idea is to combine technology, an agenda, and ARA's own criteria.
