The Prada fashion group has announced its acquisition of Versace for $1.4 billion. Since 2018, the fashion house founded by Gianni Versace has been a subsidiary of Versace. Versace was part of the American luxury group Capri Holding, which also owns Michael Koors and Jimmy Choo.
