Two police officers killed in Germany during a routine traffic control

Two German police officers have been killed in Germany during a routine traffic check in the Rhineland-Palatinate state, in the west of the country. Police is looking for the fugitives, who fired at least one firearm, but do not know their identities or the vehicle they were traveling in.
