Türkiye has deported BBC correspondent Mark Lowen, who has been covering the issue in recent days. Protests against the imprisonment of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu Recep Tayyip Erdogan's main rival. He was deported because he is considered a "threat to public order."
