The sovereignist Parti Québécois (PQ) has won the elections in Quebec, held yesterday, Monday, and has placed its leader, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, at the head of the government of the French-speaking province of Canada. It did not obtain an absolute majority, which hinders its independence project.
