The Israeli army will enter Deir al-Balah for the first time since the start of the Gaza offensive.

The Israeli army on Sunday called for the evacuation of the southwest of Deir al-Balah, a town in central Gaza where, until now, Tel Aviv forces had not carried out any ground operations. "We will operate in an area where we have not done so before," the Israeli army warned.
