Greece closes shops and schools in Athens until the end of the month

Schools and non-essential shops will be closed from Thursday and at least until the end of the month in Athens and the Attica region, where almost half of Greece's population lives. The aim is to prevent the spread of the British variant of covid-19 in the most affected area of the country.
