From Lourdes the Pope asks for "penance" in front of "a world that is going wrong"

Pope Leo XIV celebrated a mass for 150,000 people at the sanctuary of Lourdes, a sacred place of Christian pilgrimage. At the mass, the pontiff called for "penitence" in the face of "a world that is going wrong" and "where increasingly widespread conflicts" are destroying so many innocent lives.
