British Conservative Party ex-MP Ann Widdecombe, 78, assassinated

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the death of former Conservative minister and later Reform Party activist Ann Widdecombe, 78, as a murder. Widdecombe was found seriously injured at her home on Thursday evening, following a call from ambulance services.
