New record for seawater warmth off the Catalan coast

Sea water temperatures broke a new record today. Observer Josep Pascual reports that the latest sea surface temperature measurement in L'Estartit (Baix Empordà) registered 26.84°C, four degrees above average and the highest July temperature in 50 years of records.
