Sofía Castañón (Podemos) has warned Minister José Luis Escrivá that a rise in contributions to pay pensions would have to be accompanied by measures such as a rise in salaries. Íñigo Errejón (Más País) has also been wary of the proposal and has hoped that it is a "trial balloon".
