The UGT denounces that rents in Catalonia have risen twice as much as salaries

Between 2015 and 2024 the average rent in Catalonia rose by 60%, while the gross salary only increased by 30%, according to a report prepared by the UGT of Catalonia. Thus, on the eve of the general strike, the union has denounced that working "no longer guarantees being able to live with dignity".
