The ICF allocates 8 million euros to the industrial boiler-making company Attsu
The company has an investment of 14 million underway at its Riudellots de la Selva plant
BarcelonaThe Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF) has allocated 8 million euros to the new plant of the industrial boiler group Attsu, in Riudellots de la Selva. The company specializes in the design, manufacture, and commercialization of steam boilers, thermal oil, and other pressure vessels.
The project, which represents a total investment of 14 million euros and whose materialization began this month, will allow the Attsu group to expand its production facilities and "significantly" reduce manufacturing time and costs, the ICF reports in a statement.
With this operation, the company aims to respond to the growth in global demand for its industrial boiler products, especially from sectors such as energy, food, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, while also advancing its international expansion.
The CEO of the ICF, Vanessa Servera, highlighted that this operation drives "a key industry in Gironès and supports a project that also contributes to promoting sustainability and the decarbonization of the economy and territorial growth."
For its part, the spokesperson for the Attsu group, Francesc Johé, emphasized that this financing allows the company to "produce high-efficiency electrified equipment with zero CO₂ emissions at its new factory" to access the industrial decarbonization market more quickly.
