Jonathan Andic leaves the direction of Mango Man

BarcelonaMango continues to redefine its structure after the death of the founder, Isak AndicHis son, Jonathan Andic, has decided to step down and will leave his executive position at the fashion company in the coming weeks. According to a family statement, Jonathan Andic is thus continuing "with the process of separating ownership and management initiated in 2020 by Isak Andic." Appointment of the firm's CEO, Toni Ruiz, as chairman of the board of directors, where Jonathan Andic is vice chairman.

With the goal of "preserving and expanding Isak Andic's legacy," his son will focus entirely on Punta Na Holding, the family's flagship company. Jonathan Andic chairs Punta Na Holding and Mango MNG Holding, which controls 95% of Mango's business. The other 5% is in the hands of Toni Ruiz. Until now, the latter company operated as Punto Fa, and as of July, it will operate as Mango MNG, having become a public limited company. From now on, Jonathan Andic will share responsibilities in the family's holding companies with his sisters, Sarah and Judith Andic, with whom he will share the positions equally.

As published The NewspaperAndic's replacement as global director of Mango Man will be Josep Estol, until now CEO of the menswear line. The executive joined the company based in Palau-solità and Plegamans in 2022, after almost a decade working at Hackett London, where he was product director. Previously, he had worked at Massimo Dutti. Andic's departure will be accompanied by the integration of Mango into the brand's product division, as is already the case with the other lines (Woman, Kids & Teen, and Home).

Created in 2008, Mango Man has been led from the beginning by Jonathan Andic. With more than 600 points of sale in 90 markets, the line had a turnover of 408 million euros in 2024, the year in which the company celebrated its 40th anniversary.
