A Federal Reserve official will be the new director general of economics at the Bank of Spain.

David López Salido will be the new Director General of Economics at the Bank of Spain, replacing Ángel Gavilán, as agreed this Monday by the BdE's Executive Committee. The appointment follows Gavilán's resignation at the end of May, shortly after the presentation of the annual report.
