BBVA receives authorization in Mexico to control Sabadell in the country if the takeover bid goes ahead

The Mexican National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) has authorized BBVA to acquire indirect control of Sabadell's subsidiary in the country, the bank said. With this permit, BBVA now has all the authorizations requested in Mexico.
