United States sues Ticketmaster and Live Nation for illegal reselling

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has sued Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation, for participating in illegal ticket scalping. The companies allegedly sold tickets to middlemen who paid them millions of dollars and resold the tickets at a higher markup.
