BarcelonaIf you go to the newsstand this Friday, you'll find a very special AHORA. Once again this year, we're publishing the Comic Diary, an edition in which all the news in the paper are illustrated by cartoonists. It can also be downloaded in digital form from the ARA newspaper archives.
Nadia Hafid, a cartoonist from Terrassa who won the Finestres award in 2024, opens today's topic with a report on the housing crisis that is shaking Barcelona and, specifically, on the expulsion of residents due to the arrival of tourists orexpats.
Some of the best cartoonists in the country provide images to the other news of the day. Among them, Sagar Forniés, Maribel Carod, Pedro Juan, Glàfira Smith, Camille Vannier, Ed Carosia, Guillermo Dols, Marina Saez, Lorenzo Montatore, Mari Fouz, Ricardo Efa, Danide, Raquel Ródenas, Pau Valls, Álex Fito and Giulia Sagramola.
You will also find the creations of the regulars Jordi Duró, Miquel Ferreres and Manel Fontdevila, as well as an interview with the cartoonist Chris Ware, who opened a major exhibition at the CCCB last Wednesday.
