The Swiss artist Peter Stämpfli, a reference point for pop art and of narrative figuration, died Thursday in Paris at the age of 88. Among his legacy is the contemporary art foundation that bears his name, which he created in 2006 in Sitges, the city where he lived for several periods since the 1970s.
