Beyoncé was forced to stop a concert after a technical failure occurred in the car she was flying over the stadium. The incident occurred this weekend during a concert on her tour. Cowboy Carter that the singer was doing in Houston, the largest city in Texas (United States) and, precisely, where she was born and raised. The cause of the accident was a technical problem with the vehicle that had been lifted above the stadium and from which Beyoncé was singing. One of the vehicle's restraint systems—a red Cadillac—failed and a part tilted. She continued singing, but a few seconds later she stopped and called for help: "Father, wall, wall!" she exclaimed through the microphone.

This moment was captured by the cameras of many spectators, who—like the singer herself—experienced a few tense moments until the situation was resolved. The singer was rescued from the heights by her team of bodyguards, under the watchful eye of the audience. After getting out of the vehicle, Beyoncé went through the dressing room and was able to resume the show from the stage. Before continuing, she sent a message to the thousands of fans waiting for her: "I want to thank you all for your love. If I fall, I know you would catch me."

The best album of the year

After 99 nominations and more than 30 awards, Beyoncé, the most awarded artist at the Grammys, achieved a new milestone earlier this year: the award for best album with Cowboy Carter, the album she was performing during the concert where she suffered the accident. At the prestigious American music industry awards ceremony, Beyoncé explained that her musical shift toward country is a response to the widespread rejection she suffered when she performed at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards.
