Cartoonist Sam Kieth, author of 'The Maxx' and co-creator of 'Sandman', dies

Sam Kieth, one of the most original artists in American comics of recent decades, has died at the age of 63. His expressive and vivid style left its mark on comics such as Epicurus the Wise, Aliens and Sandman, for which he was one of the graphic designers. His great solo work was The Maxx.
