The Range Rover Sport is something more than an aspirational all-terrain vehicle for the British brand Range Rover, as it has become the manufacturer's emblem and a model that is always in fashion, always coveted by footballers, actors, or music stars. And it is that the Range Rover Sport is a vehicle currently available with diesel and gasoline combustion engines and in a plug-in hybrid version with prices ranging between 98,500 and 145,000 euros and a range of power outputs from 300 to 551 HP.However, by the end of 2026, the fully electric version of the Range Rover Sport will arrive on the market, with a price, power, and range yet to be confirmed, but which will be based on the basic Range Rover Electric which already has a range of 480 kilometers thanks to 117 kWh capacity batteries and a total power of 550 HP.

The Range Rover Sport Electric will go even further than the base model, with better materials, more functionalities and an extra touch of glamour expected from a Range Rover Sport. This electric version is born with the objective of challenging the new aspirational electric SUVs of the new generation, such as the BMW iX5, the Porsche Cayenne Electric or the Volvo EX90.

Aesthetically, the Range Rover Sport Electric will be practically the same as the rest of the models in the range, with the exception of the absence of the exhaust pipe or the car's identification plate. We will still have to wait a few months to know the details of the model, but the brand's general director, Martin Limpert, has already announced that the Range Rover Sport Electric will debut new technologies to optimize the torque and power of the electric motors and a specific chassis configuration to improve the driving experience and the vehicle's agility and dynamism.
