Coinciding with the Guangzhou Motor Show, local manufacturer Leapmotor has unveiled the new A10, a compact SUV measuring 4.31 meters long, 1.83 meters wide and 1.68 meters high, which takes advantage of the brand's new electric model platform and offers technology and space as its main selling points.

Leapmotor is a Chinese brand, partly owned by the Stellantis group, that manufactures cars in China and, thanks to its agreement to joint venture With the Stellantis group, it can take advantage of the commercial network of established brands in Europe such as Opel, Fiat or Peugeot, among others, which seems to ensure that this model, recently launched in the Chinese market, will eventually arrive in Europe as well.

The Chinese version of the A10 stands out for its truly competitive price of under 100,000 yuan, approximately €12,000 at the current exchange rate, offering an impressive array of technology including next-generation LFP batteries, a range exceeding 500 kilometers, and fast charging capabilities that jump from 30% to 80%. Beyond its range and fast-charging figures, which may vary depending on the European WLTP homologation standard, this electric SUV boasts a wealth of technology, including a central touchscreen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor, and a LiDAR sensor, among other features that enhance its performance.

Although Leapmotor has not yet confirmed it, at this point it seems more than likely that this model will eventually arrive in Europe, with a commercial name yet to be confirmed, but which will provisionally be called B03X, a code that seems unsuitable for a model that wants to carve out a niche in the European market.
