2025 Income Tax Return: All the Key Dates

How to check your data

Starting March 19, the Tax Agency opens a section of its own electronic headquarters where users can access their tax information. Once inside, the taxpayer must identify themselves using their electronic DNI, Cl@ve, or the reference number in box 505. For EU citizens, eIDAS is also valid. Once inside the personal area, a window may appear asking them to confirm or modify their tax address information. Once you switch tabs, all the tax information registered with the Tax Agency will be displayed.

When is the deadline for filing the 2024-2025 Income Tax Return?

In general, taxpayers will have until June 30th to file their tax return, although the date may vary depending on the filing method chosen. It is also essential to review tax information before filing to avoid errors that could affect the outcome of the return.

Key dates for the 2025 Income Tax Return

• March 19: You can start requesting tax information.
• April 2: Start of the campaign.
• April 27: All taxpayers who do not wish to complete the procedure online can begin requesting appointments.
• May 6: : Filing of returns by telephone begins.
• June 2: : The deadline for submitting declarations in person is now open.
• June 25: The deadline for filing returns that require direct debit payments is approaching.
• June 30: End of the income tax campaign.

Starting March 20, taxpayers will be able to access and complete this year's draft Income Tax return to find out their results. This way, the Tax Agency gives us an approximate idea of how much we will have to return (refund in favor of the taxpayer) or pay (the taxpayer must pay).

The draft can be completed through the website provided by the same public agency; Lava Web Open Simulator, and offers a projection that has no effects whatsoever, but which can help us get an idea of the outcome of the future statement.
