U.S. life expectancy drops one year in first six months of 2020

Life expectancy in the United States fell from 78.8 years to 77.8 in the first six months of 2020, a figure that gives an idea of the devastation of covid -19 to the country. For the black community, the most affected by the pandemic, the drop was 2.7 years instead of one.
