Russia plans to produce Sputnik V outside the country

Russia is planning to step up production of its Sputnik V covid-19 vaccine abroad, the Kremlin announced on Wednesday, as EU countries experience teething problems in their rollouts. The remarks follow the news that Sputnik V is safe and 91.6% effective, according a study published in The Lancet.
