Italy prevents AstraZeneca from shipping vaccines to Australia

The Italian government, with the support of Brussels, has denied AstraZeneca permission to export 250,000 doses of its vaccine from the Agnani plant near Rome to Australia, according to sources quoted by Reuters. The drugmaker has twice failed to comply with agreements to deliver doses to the EU.
