Germany bans entry from Czech Republic and Tyrol

Germany will ban travel from Czech border regions as well as Austria’s Tyrol over a troubling surge in infections of more contagious coronavirus variants, interior minister Horst Seehofer has said, AFP reports. Berlin is to extend the lockdown until March 7th.
