Portugal records another tragic day, with 291 deaths from covid -19

Portugal has reported a record daily death toll: 291 people dying related to covid, up from the peak of 275. The country has so far reported 653,878 cases and 11,012 deaths, and currently has world’s the highest seven day rolling average (cases and deaths) from the disease per million people.
