Sánchez, lies, and hybrid warfare

If you want to better understand the world we have started living in for the past few months, there are a couple of news items of the day that are very helpful.The day before yesterday, Pedro Sánchez stated that Morocco did not instigate the massive entry of people into Ceuta, that it had been the work of Russia and Israel, who had spread through the networks in Morocco that Spain was waiting for workers with open arms, so to speak. Putin himself has denied that Russia had anything to do with it, and the Israeli government has also denied it. But this morning, the digital newspaper El Español published that the Spanish police have informed the judge that the massive entry into Ceuta was guided by Moroccan gendarmes under the orders of plainclothes agents with the aim of collapsing the border control system and eliminating Spain's response capacity.

It is imperative that Pedro Sánchez clarifies this tomorrow, the day he is due to appear in Congress. Let him say whether he still maintains that Morocco had nothing to do with it (hard to believe), that this police report published by this digital newspaper is false, or that he has proof of Russia's or Israel's participation, because the EU says that Russia took advantage of the invasion, but there is no evidence that it organized the massive entry. And here is what we were telling you about the world we are already living in: through the networks, seventy thousand people can be moved and a very serious crisis can be created at the border of a country. In other words, we still don't know how the massive entry was orchestrated, there is a nebulous of possible responsible parties, but the immediate damage is already done. It is done and aggravated by the Spanish government's poor response in Ceuta. Because a month after the events, Albert Diumenjó, special envoy of ARA in Ceuta, writes today that “hundreds of people who have nowhere to go wander aimlessly through the city, and eat, sleep and relieve themselves in the street, even though many have already returned to Morocco, and many others sleep in emergency accommodation”. At the doors of supermarkets there are “queues of misery”, and people are “fed up, exhausted and increasingly angry”, because they are afraid to go out of their homes, they or their children. So on the southern flank of the European Union, in Ceuta, there is a security crisis caused by the displacement of thousands of people orchestrated by who knows who. And on the eastern flank of the EU we have acts of undeclared war by Russia against a member state of the Union, Germany.The German government stated yesterday that at Leipzig airport, at the beginning of August, it was a Russian drone loaded with explosives that impacted a Ukrainian cargo plane, without the drone ending up exploding.This is called "hybrid warfare". Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Romania, Lithuania have suffered it, and now, also, Germany. There is no need to deploy troops, fighter jets and tanks: a simple drone that costs a few thousand euros can paralyze an airport, which means it can cascade the air operations of a country, and cause a disruption in the lives of millions of people.
