Catalonia pays tribute to the biologist who fell in love with the most desolate place in the world

The World Oceans Day event served as a tribute to oceanographer and biologist Josefina Castellví (Barcelona, 1935-2026), who passed away in February after a long career as a researcher for which she received accolades such as the Gold Medal of the Generalitat in 2021.
