Joan Lluís Bozzo (Barcelona, 1953) is one of the great names of Catalan theater. He has dedicated more than half his life to leading the Dagoll Dagom company with creations such as Antaviana, Nit de Sant Joan, Mikado, Flor de nit and the legendary Maricel. But this conversation will take other paths: the surname, his voice, his great friend Pepe Rubianes, military service in Ceuta during the death of Franco, his conversion to the independence movement, his political foray into Junts pel Sí, active retirement, and his first 100 days of an abstinent life. Bozzo has stopped drinking alcohol.
