Elena Oliver Saiz is a lecturer at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a specialist in seismic engineering. A PhD from the University of Granada, she has researched nonlinear simulation, finite elements, and energy dissipation, with complementary stays at Berkeley. She has worked as a project manager on large international projects and currently focuses her research on the seismic behavior of tall buildings with energy dissipation systems.
