      <description><![CDATA[<p><img src="https://static1.ara.cat/clip/269a08db-7f4b-4eeb-b61d-3445dcc28fd7_16-9-aspect-ratio_default_0_x363y344.jpg" /></p><p>The Quebec duo Angine de Poitrine, formed in 2019 and under the pseudonyms Khn de Poitrine (guitar, bass and microtonal instruments) and Klek de Poitrine (drums), occupies a singular space within the ecosystem of contemporary experimental music; not so much because it makes "another kind of pop" as because it questions the very conditions under which pop is listened to, perceived, and consumed. At a historical moment dominated by songs designed to hold attention for seconds, predictable structures optimized for platforms, and an aesthetic of emotional immediacy, Angine de Poitrine operates as a critical interference. Their work does not seek solely to produce musical pieces, but to alter the listening habits of those who listen. In this sense, more than composers or <em>performers</em>, they pirate listening.</p>]]></description>
