Barça hosts Unai Emery's Aston Villa this Tuesday at the Camp Nou in the match corresponding to the fourth matchday of the 2026-27 Champions League league phase. Hansi Flick's team will look to take three points against the English side to remain well-positioned in the European standings and leave behind the two defeats from a few days ago against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

A century after Antonio Emery defended the Real Unión goal against Barça, his grandson will once again face the blue-and-red team from the technical area. Unai Emery will manage Aston Villa in the fourth matchday of the Champions League at the Camp Nou. The surname Emery, of French origin, has already been part of the history of Spanish football for decades, but the relationship with Barça is only a small part of a family legacy spanning four generations that has the goal as its main common thread.
