The works to recover the Petroli bridge in Badalona will begin the first week of June and will last until October or November. This has been announced by the mayor of the city, Xavier García Albiol, who explained that the work will occupy part of the beach and the Maritime Promenade during the summer season. "The works have to be done in summer because it is the best time to do them from the sea. They cannot be done in autumn or winter," Albiol detailed. More specifically, the forecast is that about 75 meters on each side of the bridge will be occupied in the beach section, and on the Maritime Promenade, passage will be blocked at the height of the infrastructure to allow trucks to pass.
