Complaints from some students and professors about the difficulty of this year's PAU mathematics exam have now been quantified. The Department of Research and Universities has received a total of 2,057 claims to review the scientific mathematics test for the selectivity exam. The number of reviews requested for the exam in this subject represents 9.46% of the total applications that students have registered for all PAU subjects held three weeks ago.

Notable news in the university entrance exams that will be held next month: for the first time, detectors will be used to prevent students from cheating on the PAU using electronic devices. As explained in a circular from the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia, which has been sent to the institutes, in the exams to be held on June 9, 10, and 11, "the organization may use electronic device detectors during the test."
