The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a man this Saturday as the alleged perpetrator of the violent death of a woman in the town of Esplugues de Llobregat, in Baix Llobregat. The Catalan police force received the alert around 11 in the morning, via a call to 112 reporting that a man had injured a woman and fled the scene. According to what ARA has been able to learn, the murder allegedly occurred in the middle of Joan Miró street with a bladed weapon. When the Mossos d'Esquadra units and the Emergency Medical System (SEM) personnel arrived, they could do nothing to save the woman's life, who had received several stab wounds.
