The philosopher Victoria Camps, the writer Maite Carranza, the artist Joan Fontcuberta, actors Sílvia Munt and Enric Majó, and journalist Julia Otero are some of the 20 individuals and 10 entities that the Government has recognized this year with the Creus de Sant Jordi for their careers, at the proposal of the Minister of Culture, Sònia Hernández, and as reported by the ACN. The distinctions recognize the outstanding services they have rendered to Catalonia in the defense of its identity or in the civic and cultural sphere.
