With over five decades of history—born and rooted in Anoia—the organization has consolidated a model that combines high value-added economic activity with an unwavering social commitment. From its inception, Àuria has operated on one essential principle: everyone deserves the opportunity to do extraordinary things. This conviction has guided its evolution, demonstrating that generating real opportunities and business competitiveness can go hand in hand when there is a clear vision, responsible governance, and a shared purpose: to guarantee the labor and life inclusion of people in vulnerable situations.

As soon as they learned about the El Molí d'en Puigvert Foundation's project, the company decided to open a store there to sell off footwear, accessories, and sporting goods from the previous season, but also, and above all, to channel its social and charitable commitment through a solid and well-established project focused on the employment of people with severe mental illness. In this case, the store employs four people from the Special Employment Center (CET), and the two store managers are the supervisors of the assistants employed within the CET. In October, the lingerie, corsetry, and pajama brand Gisela arrived at the Palafolls social outlet. This establishment is the first outlet for the Malaga-based company in its fifty-year history and employs three people and two CET supervisors, who also serve as store managers. In that other store, customers will also find swimwear during the summer.

These are gestures that, taken together, create a fairer society, more attentive to all realities. But inclusion isn't just about urban spaces or public services: it's also about the outdoors, in the fundamental—yet simultaneously unequal—right to walk on a path, follow a trail, experience the forest, or reach a natural viewpoint. So, where does inclusion stand in Catalonia's natural environment?

Today, it's the measure of an education system's quality. Catalonia begins the 2025-2026 academic year with 1,326,352 students, according to sources from the Department of Education and Vocational Training. Despite the overall decline in enrollment, the number of students requiring specific support has increased: 335,746 from preschool (E3) to the fourth year of secondary school (ESO), almost 9,000 more than the previous year. Of these, 43,366 are students with special educational needs (SEN-A) – students with developmental disorders or disabilities – and within this group, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is one of the fastest-growing profiles.
