These two seemingly antithetical terms were the ones that Oriol Nolis, director of La 2Cat, won out this Tuesday at the official presentation of RTVE's new Catalan-language channel, which finally begins broadcasting next Monday, October 13. Modesty because the 11 million budget for program purchases cannot compete with the more than 70 million allocated by TV3, the undisputed leader in television in the country.
