Since his body was found hanging in an apparent sexual act of self-asphyxiation, the death of Telecinco cameraman Mario Biondo had been ruled a suicide. However, the case has taken a turn with the decision of the Madrid Court, which has raised the possibility that the husband of presenter Raquel Sánchez Silva was murdered. According to a court document published by The Newspaper, "For the first time, a complaint is filed against certain individuals, with extensive expert evidence [...] which appears to suggest that Biondo's death was not a suicide." However, the judges who signed it point out that there is no appeal because the crime has already been tried.
